Olive Oil

You can have a good olive oil but you don’t know how? It’s a bit difficult to produce a good olive oil but if you follow the steps it will be easy.

First, between September and December, the olives are harvested by hand or with sticks and rakes. Then they are collected on nets beneath the trees. After that, leaves and small stones are removed and the olives are run through a washer to remove any impurities before crushing. Then, within 24-36 hours of picking, the olives are crushed by granite millstones. The olive paste obtained is layered on mats which are put under pressure from a screw or hydraulic press. The liquid produced is collected and put through a centrifugal separator to separate the water and impurities from the oil. Finally, after centrifugation, the oil is obtained.

The olive oil has many benefits for the people and these steps guide you to have a good quality of the olive oil.

The UAE and Brunei

There are many places in the world that have beautiful views and bad views and every place has some things that make it different from the other places. In this essay I am going to write about the similarities and the differences between the UAE and Brunei.

There are some similarities between the UAE and Brunei. The first similarity is that the UAE and Brunei are both Islamic countries. Another similarity is that both the UAE and Brunei are rich countries because they have natural resources like the oil and gas. Yet another similarity is that each of the countries is developing rapidly and has its own airport.

Although there are many similarities there are also several important differences. The first difference is that the UAE is in the Middle East but Brunei is in the Far East. Another difference is that the UAE has summer and winter while in Brunei the climate is mostly the same all the year. Yet another difference is the currency, dirhams in the UAE and ringgits in Brunei. Finally, the driving side in the UAE is the left side but it is the right side in Brunei.

All in all, Brunei is a very beautiful place to live but I prefer to live in the UAE because I like the hot weather and every detail in it.

UAE and Brazil football

All over the world every country has its own football teams but each team is different from the other in some points and in my essay I am going to write about the similarities and the differences between the UAE team and the Brazil team.

There are some similarities between the UAE team and the Brazil team. Like Brazil, the UAE is a member of FIFA which is an international body for regulating football. This means that both teams have eleven players, and substitutes are allowed. Both teams play to a system that has been agreed with the coaches beforehand. Brazil and the UAE defend when necessary but prefer to attack.

Although there are some similarities, there are also many important differences. However, there are many differences in the style of play. Brazil plays at a higher level than the UAE and has won the World Cup. The former are fitter and faster than the latter and can adopt their style of play easily. This is because the Brazilian players have experience with teams all over the world while the UAE players usually play for local teams.

As we can see from the above the differences is outweigh the similarities. In my opinion I like to watch the UAE team and I like the local players because I know them well but I don’t know the Brazil team.

Reflection 4

Our teacher told us how to write the compare and contrast between two things to know what is the best between the two.

The first paragraph is about the two things and what is the relationship between them (general idea). This all has to be in 50 words.

The second paragraph talks about the similarities between the two things (at least 3 similarities) and it will be better if you add some examples and you can put it in 50 words.

The third paragraph talks about the differences (at least 3 differences) between the two things and it will show the details that you want to know it and you can put it in 50 words.

In the conclusion you have to show what is more, the similarities or the differences and talk about your opinion and what you prefer and this can be in 50 words.

Reflection 3

I have learned the process and we concentrate on changing the verbs to the passive voice like the bus was driver.

The process writing is easy but you have to do some important steps:

The first paragraph has a general idea and it include 25words.

In the main paragraph (the body) you have to use the passive voice in the process verbs and it will have 100 words.

The conclusion it has a short repeated Idea and how the process will be; this will include 25 words.

I like this kind of writing because it’s easy and interesting.
